Biographical note | Ella Elizabeth Tyson Harris (ca. 1940s-2004) was an African American educator from Greenville, N.C. Harris was educated in Greenville's public schools and graduated from C. M. Eppes School (1963). Harris was a witness to segregation and integration in public schools as a teacher who taught French at C. M. Eppes School (1967-1968), Black Studies and History at J. H. Rose Senior High School (ca. 1970), and was a school administrator later in her career (ca. 1980's-2004). |
